Carson’s Lookout

Carson’s Lookout is located on Thunderbolts Way about 50km north of Gloucester. Named after the Gloucester resident Eric Carson (1913-1999) who was a member of the team who built the first road up the mountain range in 1961.

Carson’s Lookout offers panoramic views over the Giro valley across to the state forests & world heritage wilderness of Barrington Tops. There are picnic facilities & toilets. (Please take your rubbish with you.)
